TOP-PSCHD: Production Schedule

SCOPE: This procedure covers production and distribution of the Production Schedule and Machine Shop Schedule.

STEP	WHO	WHEN	INFO TO USE	WHAT TO DO	RESULTS
1	Managers/Supervisors	Every work day	Daily Labor Input Reports; Routers	Review for accuracy and make corrections in Modify Job Schedule/Status; verify Router data prior to running Synchronizer.	Labor entries corrected; Router data verified prior to running Synchronizer
2	Production Scheduler	Every work day; as needed	Job Order release; Synchronizer; Shop Schedules, BOMs and Routers	Release Job Orders after verifying material and die availability; schedule job orders that are ready for production; execute and commit Synchronizer; update all departments Shop Schedules; notify all Production Managers/Supervisors that Shop Schedules are ready; resolve scheduling problems to improve delivery performance.	Job Orders that are ready are scheduled for production; Synchronizer is run and jobs are scheduled; schedules updated; Production Managers/Supervisors have Shop Schedules available for printing; scheduling problems resolved
