TFTM-DIST: Stamping of Dies

Taught by:  Die Shop Lead Man, Die Prep Leadman or Die Preparer

Objective: To learn the proper techniques to use when stamping dies, including safety aspects.

Syllabus: Two sessions at a reasonable interval apart where employees are given all required information about placement, procedure, and positioning; includes a hands on demonstration or an opportunity to do some stamping.

Completion: Sign off by teacher that employee has shown a good understanding of stamping procedure.
