TFTP-BCRB: Machining Department Crib Attendant

Coaches: Machining Department Manager, Machine Department Shift Leadman

Team member's role and responsibilities:

• Ensure that tool crib has the tools and supplies needed in the shop.
• Maintain inventory records of crib contents.
• Prepare, maintain, and issue tooling for up coming jobs according to schedule.
• Fill in and assist in various departments as needed i.e., QC, shipping, shop floor, etc.
• Purchase all supplies in the most cost effective manner possible.
• Review and become familiar with the company's TOPs Manual, especially all TOPs related to this team position.

Rookie requirements:

• High school graduate or GED.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarly with machine shop environment and tooling needs.
• Good record keeping skills.
• Completion of CROP training module within 90 days.
• Pre-employment test for machinists.

Physical activity involved:

• Extensive walking through the shop and to Forging Division.
• Frequent bending and lifting of steel parts weighing up to 50 lbs. and tool crib items.
