TFTP-BMDS: CNC Die Sinker

Coaches: Die/Tooling Supervisor, Machining Department Programmer, Machine Department Manager

Team member’s role and responsibilities

Set up and Operate all CNC Die Sinking Equipment used to machine Dies and or tooling.
Be capable of handling multiple tasks such as keeping as many as three machines operating at one time.
Must be able to work independently and look for ways to best utilize time while machines are running.
Able to hand write simple programs at the machine.
Polish and hand work Dies.
Pour plaster casts of Die impressions as needed.
Operate in a safe manner and report any hazardous situations to any coach.
Review, become familiar with and follow the company's TOP'S Manual.

Rookie requirements:

High school Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years experience as a CNC machinist.
An ability to communicate and work well with other Team Members.

Physical activity involved:

Some walking, extensive standing, bending , lifting of up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling.
