TFTP-DTRR: Die Shop Trimmer Man

Coaches: Die Shop Supervisor, Die Shop Lead Man

Team member's role and responsibilities:

• Help production shop keep production flowing with a minimum of interruptions due to down trimmer equipment.
• Maintain trimmers.
• Effect repairs on trimmer through grinding, stamping, or other techniques to minimize scrap or rework parts.
• Identify and correct tooling imperfections.
• Make proper adjustments to trimmer equipment on shop floor promptly, safely, and efficiently so that production flow suffers minimum disruptions.

Rookie requirements:

• Complete training module DSHP.

Physical activity involved:

• Standing, operating hand grinders, using large wrenches, adjusting tooling set-up
• Some bending, pushing, pulling, and welding. 
• Lifting objects up to 80 lbs.
