TFTP-FENG: Forging Engineer

Coaches: VP Quality and Engineering

Team member's role and responsibilities:

  • Review customer specifications and ensure Trinity Forge can meet the customer's requirements.
  • Conduct cost analyses of proposed processes to meet requirements.
  • Work with Trinity engineers to develop design to maximum customer satisfaction along with forge ability.
  • Work with the sales department, other Trinity engineers and Trinity Forge team members to design a cost-effective forging (including related tooling) suitable for the need and suitable to the forger.
  • To keep prints updated and revisions current on all computer systems.

Rookie requirements:

  • B.S. in technical or engineering related field or 5 years of forging design experience.
  • Complete training module EGPR,  FSAT and PRCP within 90 days of hire.

Physical activity involved:

  • Moderate walking and climbing stairs.
  • Extensive periods of sitting and working with personal computer.
