Coaches: Maintenance Supervisor,
Maintenance Leadman
Team member's role and responsibilities:
- To help maintenance department carry out the task of keeping
equipment in operating condition so that the various departments entrusted with producing,
cleaning, and shipping forgings to our customers can do it without major disruptions
because of equipment failure.
- To use company's tools and resources along with personal abilities to
minimize down time of equipment.
- To stay updated with latest technologies and equipment.
- To exercise and develop good safety habits to avoid personal injury
given the hazardous situations involved in maintenance work.
- To respond promptly to the various requests for maintenance
assistance.
- To Provide support to maintenance department with troubleshooting
skills.
- To work closely with maintenance supervisor or lead man to receive
instructions on the priority of jobs pending.
- To work and communicate with equipment operators so that they can be
trained or advised on proper handling of such equipment.
Rookie requirements:
- 5-10 years of maintenance experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical schematics symbology.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills using schematics.
- Complete training module PMNT.
Physical activity involved:
- Extensive walking, climbing of stairs and ladders
- Some lifting of equipment parts
- Some bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling.
