Team member's role and responsibilities:
- Verify Daily Labor Reports
- Ensure that weekly payroll needs in terms of record keeping of
time cards and timely issuance of payroll checks are met as accurately as possible.
- Review hammer logs and credit employees with designated bonuses;
deduct appropriate insurance, withholding, and FICA fees and taxes, etc.
- Issue vacation and bonus checks as requested, upon verification.
- Effectively resolve payroll differences and problems that occur.
- Be discreet and be respectful of confidential nature of payroll and
related information.
- Track employee attendance.
- Coordinate Personnel Objectives and
Employment Reviews
- Oversee office supplies and furniture
- Post Receivables
- Maintain Temps Time Cards
- Backup for Receptionist
- Maintain consignments for Dixie Iron
Works and Atlas Capco
Rookie requirements:
- High school graduate or GED
- Payroll experience.
Physical activity involved:
- Moderate amount of walking, handling heavy binders and storage boxes.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working with personal computers.
