Forge Supervisor,
Manufacturing Manager
Team member's role and responsibilities:
- Perform all duties pertaining to Post
Forge Grinding Area.
- Ability to organize and schedule work
for Grinding areas.
- Communicate closely with co-workers,
supervisors, lead men and scheduler.
- Work independently and maintain
production schedule.
- Train Post Forge employees on how to
operate equipment and do their job in a safe manner.
- Follow all safety guidelines.
Rookie requirements:
- 5 years forge shop experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Meet all rookie requirements for Post
Forge Helper
- Complete training in modules GRND,
BLST,
WHSE,
SPAP, PRNT, COLD, PRTC,
and PFNH
also forklift and crane training within 120 days.
- Ability to read
basic blueprints
- Complete training
on Defect Recognition
- Ability to work without supervision.
Physical activity involved:
- Constant usage of both hands
and arms in reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting parts weighting up
to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending/twisting at
waist/knees/neck and constant attention and mental alertness.
- Conditions include: cold and
hot weather, dust, noise, moving equipment and parts buggies and tubs.
