Learn how to operate overhead crane and forklifts safely
	Learn how to properly use different equipment to pick up dies and tooling
	Learn how to properly store dies and tooling in the storage racks
	Learn which hammers the different trimmer boxes go to
	Learn how to operate the trim presses safely
	Learn the correct steps for cleaning and painting dies for storage
	Learn to read blue prints
	Learn to use tools correctly to set up tooling in the presses

Syllabus:

	Watch overhead crane and forklift films and pass written test
	Complete blueprint training
	Work with an experienced Die Prep employee until the  Die Prep employee and Die Prep Supervisor are satisfied that the new hire can perform all tasks in a fast and safe manner

Completion: Sign off by Die Prep Supervisor and Die Prep designated employee experienced in Die Prep that the new hire has been instructed and understands his/her job function requirements.

Notes: During the new hire's first 90 days of employment, the department Supervisor and Leadman will still be responsible for the new hire's safety and safety training.
