Learn how to operate the overhead crane and forklifts safely
	Learn how to use different equipment to pick up tooling, dies and raw material
	Learn how to load and unload material from trucks safely
	Learn how to bring in dies and tooling from the die storage are
	Learn how to operate the saw and large drill press safely
	learn how to polish and prepare dies
	Learn how to make casts of the impressions on the dies

Syllabus:

	Watch forklift and overheard crane videos and pass written test
	Work with an experienced Die Shop employee until the Die Shop Supervisor and Die Shop employee are satisfied that the new hire can perform all tasks in a fast and safe manner.

Completion: Sign off by Die Shop Supervisor and experienced Die Shop employee that the new employee has been instructed and understands his/her job requirements.

Notes: During the new hire's first 90 days of employment, the department Supervisor and Leadman will still be responsible for the new hire's safety and safety training.
