TFTM-MDNH: Maintenance Deparment New Hire Training

Taught by: Maintenance Supervisor and designated experienced maintenance employee

Objective:

	Must complete Forklift training
	Must complete Overhead Crane training and to use all cranes safely
	Must complete Lock out-Tag out training
	Must familiarize themselves with all equipment in each department
	Must learn to work safely around high pressure and high voltage
	Must learn to use the correct tools for various jobs

Syllabus:

	View films on Overhead Cranes, Forklifts and Lock out-Tag out
	Work with the designated experienced maintenance until the experienced maintenance employee and the Maintenance Supervisor are satisfied the new hire can perform all tasks in a fast and safe manner.

Completion: Sign off by Maintenance Supervisor and designated experienced maintenance employee That the new hire has been instructed and understands his/her job function requirements

Notes: During the new hire's first 90 days of employment, the department Supervisor and Leadman will still be responsible for the new hire's safety and safety training.
