Completion:  After successful completion of welding and testing the operator is qualified to weld the material and joints that he has been tested on.

The welds that have been made for testing will be submitted to Steel Inspectors of Texas. for qualification. The results of their evaluation will certify or reject the welder operations.

Evidence of welder qualification will be kept in the employee training file. Employee will remain qualified until such time that employee has not welded for a period of six months. The Manager has the right to revoke qualification at any time that employee fails to follow the guidelines set forth in the MPS concerning welding.

Notes: Changes to this training module needs to be coordinated with Steel Inspectors of Texas or other appropriately approved supplier.
