TFTP-XMFG: VP Manufacturing

Coaches: President, CEO

Team member's role and responsibilities:

• Manage all forge shop departments, except Quality Control.
• Oversee Machine Division.
• Provide in-depth analysis in areas pertaining to costs, productivity, methods and systems as they relate to the manufacturing aspects of a forging enterprise.
• Work closely with various departments in the implementation of ideas involving improved efficiency, reduction of costs, and better methodology.

Rookie requirements:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or at least 10 years of maintenance experience including roles in leadership and problem solving.
• Must have the ability to lead people, discuss technical issues, and read blueprints.

Physical activity involved:

• Moderate amount of walking, some climbing of ladders, and exposure to heat.
• Occasional lifting of metal parts.
• Extensive periods of sitting and using a computer.
